Staff Bios

Veronique Cook joined NMSB as receptionist in 2013. She brightens our office with her beautiful smile and her outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills. Her warmth and professionalism are a welcome greeting to our clients and their varied needs.
     Veronique grew up in Austin and attended The University of Texas. After raising two daughters and experiencing her own life changes, Veronique feels she's a perfect fit for our law office (and so do we!). She believes in being an optimist and harnessing the most out of life. Veronique is an avid animal lover and enjoys spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends.

Christine Giles is our office administrator. Her many years in accounting have including extensive work with CPAs, lenders and physicians. At NMSB she is responsible for accounting and operations, including assisting clients with their financial questions. Chris is an active member of the Austin Chapter of the Association for Legal Administrators. She is serving as the 2015-2016 Treasurer and as co-chair of the Small Firm Roundtable.  Although she has lived in many parts of the U.S., Chris has happily settled in Austin with her husband, young son and a house full of four-legged friends.

Spring Liberty started her paralegal career in 1980 and  practiced for fourteen years in the family law arena. She then focused on forensic accounting for ten years, particularly family law complex property cases including tracing and characterization of separate and community property. In 2004, Spring became a Trust Officer and worked in the trust, estate and probate areas of law. Spring resumed her paralegal career in 2009, and brought her 31 years of varied experience to NOELKE MAPLES ST. LEGER BRYANT in 2010.  She is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Spring earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from St. Edward's University.
Julie Whitson Julie Whitson fell in love with the law in her undergraduate studies and went on to receive a Master’s Degree in Legal Studies from Texas State University at San Marcos. She has worked in the field of Family Law since 2006 and is a member of the Paralegal Division of the State Bar of Texas. Julie earned her Board Certification in Family Law from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 2013.  
     She enjoys spending downtime with her close network of family and friends. She is a fan of true-crime stories, Dallas Cowboys football, and Texas country music.

Kimberly A. McDonald joined NMSB in 2013, and we are happy to have her with us. She has been in family law since 1998. A divorced parent, she truly understands the process from both sides and it allows her to perform her job with particular insight.
     Kimberly earned her Board Certification in Family Law from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She is an Associate Member of the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists and member of the Paralegal Division of the State Bar of Texas and the Capital Area Paralegal Association. She is currently on the Publication Committee of the State Bar of Texas Paralegal Division.
     Kimberly was born in Fort Worth and has lived in the Austin area since 1992. She is a busy single mother to three lovely children - Meagan, Shane and John - and an avid reader. 
Rebecca Alvarez joined us as a paralegal in 2015. Originally from Fredericksburg, Rebecca graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Public Relations and then obtained her paralegal certificate. Even in school, Rebecca found herself fascinated with family law. Since she began her paralegal career in 2006 she has proved skilled in the fieldand demonstrated it by earning Board Certification in Family Law from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 2011.
